0 Old skool D
Do you mean a protective case, or is there also a carrying case?I meant Protective case. I went to my local Sony centre to get a silicon case, only to be told that it came with no screen protector!
0 juli_
I meant Protective case. I went to my local Sony centre to get a silicon case, only to be told that it came with no screen protector!I had that silly silicon case for all of 2 hours before I sent it back for a refund. It's not protective at all. I can't think of what use it serves other than to give the unit a 'jelly' feel! I bought the clear hard case which is brilliant as all the functions are easily available. Plus my minor niggle about the 808 was it felt too 'thin' in my hand, so the clear case gives it a tiny amount of much-needed bulk and I actually prefer how it feels now. I got mine from eBay for £17 from a guy with great feedback. They don't seem to be easily available I've noticed! If you want the link, tell me. 0 juli_
Juli, many thanks for that. I've just brought this, for 18 quid. Now all I have to do is get rid of my Leather case! What was wrong with the leather case? Did it not have a protective screen? The clear case is realy good, sturdy and it's so easy to operate all the buttons. The first one I bought was faulty, and when I turned the volume up - it just stuck and went straight to maximum, blowing my ears out in the process! But the seller replaced it with no problem and this case seems fine.

Also I couldn't really appreciate the beauty of the player behind the leather casing.
