Sonicstage 4.1 to 4.3 upgrade problem

Hi

I've just purchased a NWS705 and installed Sonicstage 4.1 from the CD - all fine.

I've also just downloaded the 4.3 upgrade but when I try to install in connects to the internet and gives a database error "you have already ready got 4.3 no need to install".

Well I haven't got 4.3!

I've tried uninstalling and cleaning registry etc. And even though 4.1 appears uninstalled, 4.3 refuses to install as it thinks it is already installed.

Is there a full install distribution of 4.3 (like the 4.1 on the CD I have) I can download?

Or is there a way of nuking 4.1 completely so I can install 4.3 from scratch?

Have you completely uninstalled Sonicstage as listed here: http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6 ?

That'd be your first step if you haven't followed this already.

Yes I had tried that to no avail.

Happily the full install package for 4.3 I downloaded from ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/pub/Downloads/SO/...01198206-UN.exe

uninstalled 4.1 and installed 4.3 all in one go with no problems.
