SonicStage 4.3 question

Hey everyone. I can't seem to get any of the Intelligent Features to work on my NW-A800 player. This includes:

(1) My Favorite Shuffle (or Favorite 100)

(2) Playback History

I tried to follow the instructions to uninstall and reinstall SonicStage, but I didn't delete everything that was suggested (I have a Vaio computer). Anyone have any suggestions to get the Intelligent Features to work? Thanks for your help.

Nevermind, Shinji Ikeda responded to my PM, here's what he said:

Please make sure that you are using SonicStage 4.3. When Use Intelligent Features is set then it should work. You did say that Library:Advance Mode was set when looking at Unit Information?

So when you connect the Walkman, the right side says Setting the artist initials... , updating ratings..., then nothing (but displaying the tracks on the NW-S800).

Try to listen to a couple of songs. Reconnect the NW-S800 and start SonicStage and allow it to do its thing. Disconnect and check if the information has been updated. If you have been listening to songs, then skip this step.

Press reset on the right-side of the player.

Finally, if this does not work. Remove all tracks from the NW-S800. Toggle the Intelligent Features off and on by pressing OK both times. Reset the player, and retransfere all your track.

I had my player about 3 days before activating the intelligent feature and did not have the problems you are having. The grayed out indicates that there is no information.

You must be using SonicStage 4.3 that came with your player, and you have played some songs since the last time you.

The italicized part is what made the Intelligent functions work on mine. Hope this might help others as well. Thanks Shinji!
