dutchtrance Posted May 21, 2007 Report Share Posted May 21, 2007 im interested in a new 80X series walkman, but i cannot have the walkman AND my S706, it would be a waste.so the questions is:is it worth selling my 706 and getting a 80x series?how much do the 706 go for? has any one sold one on ebay? is there a market?if the answer is no to any of the above, then i am happy to keep the 706 for now. Some uses are better for the NW-S706, while others for the NW-S800 series models.The important thing is to seriously think about what you want to use the Walkman for. By selling the NW-S706 you will be giving up noise cancellation, and the FM radio. Are those features important to you? I find the NW-S706 earies to operate with one hand, and that it does not require my full attention.Is there a market for someone who uses eBay and views the NW-S706 to expensive? Yes. Even at the best condition, I would not expect anyone to pay more than half the original price.
