My daughter got a NW-A806 for her birthday and she really enjoys watching movies/cartoons on it. Great to have when travelling etc. However, I do find the settings in the bundled conversion software too limited.
- I can only choose 768 or 384 kbps, I want something lower, maybe 320.
- I can only choose 30 or 15 fps, in Europe we use 25 fps, or I might want half of that.
- I want to use mono audio and perhaps lower sample rate/bit rate. Can't do that with Image Converter.
So the solution I was hoping for was Handbrake. A really neat, one step ripping/encoding process that I have successfully used for my Nokia phone. I tried with AVC Baseline 1.3 and 320x240 but the Sony device refuse to play the files I create. Does anyone know the settings to use (I use Handbrake CLI on Linux)?
