dommatron
Sorry to disturb you guys again...but im having troubles displaying the album art of some of my albums of the player. There are only a handful of albums that show the cover art for it. Is there a specific way of entry or should it automatically work. Im not sure why this is the case. I've applied the album art the same way, some work and others do. I applied the album art manually ( ie right clicking the playlist > properties > then under 'cover art I add the corresponding album art) so far no luck... and i want the cover art to appear... took me ages to apply them!!any tips to rectify this problem would be greatly appreciated!!thanks once again

If you reduce the window on the browser you can browse amazon while still on the sonic stage desk top. It works for me every time. lokiz0r
If you've got iTunes handy (yes, I know, I know), you can use it to re-encode your MP3's ID3 tags in V2.3, as compared to V2.4. Do this by importing your music, then selecting it all, right-clicking, and hitting 'Convert ID3 Tags...'Having the tags in V2.3 means Sonicstage will see any embedded album art, as compared to V2.4 where it won't!You can also use iTunes to find album art from the iTunes store (for the more common albums, at least), and manually store it in the tags (right click the album art in the mini window (bottom left) and copy, select all relevant tracks, right click, hit Get Info, and paste it into the Artwork window in the tagger). There are, of course, other tools to convert the format of your tags - J. River Media Center being just one (admittedly, it's paid software, but it is worth the money).

I tried to import songs into iTunes and convert the ID3 tags back to version 2.3. This did not always work so I went back another version to version 2.2. This worked. However, not all my songs, once imported into iTunes have the 'Convert ID3 tags..." option availlabe (no clue why) and iTunes only allows you to import ONE song at a time. I have about 200 that need covert art added and tag clean up.Therefore I'm looking for a tagging program that (1). will allow me to save the changes in V2.2 so they are compatible with SS (2). will embed cover art (since this is mainly why I'm fiddling with the tags in the first place).Any suggestions? (the new dap models that don't use SS are looking better and better!). Thanks in advance.
