Removing the front cover of a NW-A3000

I have had a look through the previous threads on removing the front cover of the NW-A3000 and there appears to be a few ways of doing it.

And as there is no service manual for the NW-A3000 (there is only one for the NW-A1000 which isn't the same inside, as I have just discovered), I just wanted to know what methods you guys have tried and which is the easiest/best way of doing it?

well if your unit has died completely and is beyond repair, and I mean really beyond repair, throw it at a wall, should open it right up. but if it is still working, I would suggest slowly and carefully removing pieces one by one. use small screw drivers to pry thngs open, use as little force as possible.
