Question

Can anybody advise how to display album cover art on my new NW-A808? The player works well and cover art has been selected in the Album Display Format menu. However the only cover art that is displayed is that associated with the pre-installed demo tracks. The album cover art is displayed in SonicStage but do not appear to be transferred to the NW-A808.

There are quite a few threads about album art, it seems to pose a problem only until you get the hang of it! My suggestion is don't assume the artwork will transfer to your player just because you see it in SS. Drag the artwork over to the main album cover in SS, (even if you can see it's already there!) and then you'll be asked if you want to assign the artwork to individual tracks as well. But take a look at the links below to give you an idea of other users tips and advice.

If your importing MP3's with embedded cover art it should apear in the A808. I normally use Mp3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/) to manually add cover art into the mp3 itself.

Some users have reported that certain mp3 doesn't show the album art even though its definately embedded. I tested verious image size and jpg compression and have landed on this settings. Now cover art always appear without and hiccups.

Best setting for MP3 cover art. 200px x 200px and file size no larger than 20KB
