Sgt_Strider
I modified my OS to automatically install the East Asian language pack when I reformatted my computer. I can't read Japanese, but I can read Chinese characters. I'm wondering if I can just download the Japanese or Asian Pacific version of Sonicstage and then just transfer my songs titled with Asian characters? Or I'll need to make those modificaitons like with the English version of Sonicstage?
Shinji Ikeda
SonicStage will check the configuration of your compter and give you the options available. If the config. is correct then the Japanese will install, but your computer must be Japanese configurated.

How can I check and or verify this? How do I ensure that my configuration is correct? I know my computer can display Japanese, Chinese, and Korean characters with no problems. Sites encoded with those characters load up with no problems whatsoever.I tried downloading and installing the Sonicstage software from the Japanese website, but there doesn't appear to be any problems installing it. Can you be more specific with your response? I'm a bit confused right now.

No go.The Asia-Pacific doesn't provide Asian support without applocale. The only advantage (and it is to me) of the AP version is you don't have the Connect store cluttering up your version of SSCP. I'm a bit confused right now.If you have the time and patience you need it change you the configuration to Japanese on your computer not English or any other Language version. This mean formatting your harddrive and reinstalling Windows as Japanese. When I refer to configuration I am speaking of Windows not SonicStage. There is a work around call AppLocal that you can use.
