estique
Help! I've lost my Walkman CD, and now I can't transfer any videos into my NW-A808 as I recently formatted my computer! No Image Converter 3 means no Video function for my A808! Argh~! Are there any other software(s) that I can use instead?
riceb0i87
Welcome to AtracLife!I extracted the Image Converter software from my CD, and uploaded it to a site for you (it is a RAR file), and anyone else who may need it. (The file is hosted for 60 days, so get it now!)http://www.zshare.net/download/692442700d395a/Hope it works. If not, there's plenty of other software you can use. Since I don't like plugging in my 808 while Image Converter is converting videos, I use a program called WinAVI MP4 Converter, which works great for me (some other programs have audio sync issues). And for YouTube clips/ FLV videos, there's a good one called FLV to AVI MPEG WMV 3GP MP4 Ipod Converter. Hope this helps.
estique
Thanks for your help, riceb0i87! Really appreciate that! The installation was successful! Finally I get my A808's video functionality back! Haha! What troubles me is Sony's customer service.. It seems that they do not really trust their customers very well.. I had contacted Sony about this problem and they simply asked me to buy the full version of Image Converter 3 at the original price! Is this a joke?I don't really see any reasons that why is Sony charging us the full price for it, treating us like a new customer all together. So much for appreciating customer loyalty.. I mean they should at the very least give us a cheaper rate for a replacement disc. I still have it under warranty, and proof of purchase! Sorry I just feel that it is unfair to me. To us.
