NW-E016F - Popping sound when unit shuts down

Hello,

I just recieved my new NW-E016F for a killer price of 69 € and am generally quite satisfied with it.

Just one minor problem: While connected to my PC speakers or to my living room stereo (not while using headphones) it makes a popping sound whenever it shuts off after stopping playback during the appearance of the "Power Off" in the display.

Never experienced anything similar with my old mini discs units or HD5, even when they weren't in line out mode.

Are there any NW-E01X users with the same problem?

Hi ! I have an e015 and it produces the same thing, but in my opinion it's not so bad at all. After a few weeks you would not notice it ...till u're not listening to music on some huge soundsystem connected to the player. After all, I think that is a general problem with these devices. Ps. I have a European device

You're right, it's not that big of a deal. I was just not used to it and thougt it might be a specific problem with my unit, which does not seem to be the case.

You are correct, even my S705F does that popping sound which is a bit annoying.
