Tag display problem with A728

I just picked this up today, and have been playing with it since I got it.

One thing that has been troubling me since I started putting MP3s on it is that some files are not displaying their tags. The player acts as if they aren't tagged, when foobar2000 and MP3Tag are clearly showing the files with tags. No matter how I edit the files' tags (even wiping them and rewriting them manually) the tags still refuse to display on the unit.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind this; it happens to a few random songs from various albums, and it happens to a handful of entire albums.

Is there something that can be done about this?

Compare the ones you can see, and the ones you can't see in mp3tag. This has happened to me before, and I believe it is because sony players cannot display when it is ID3 v. 2.4, but displays perfectly when it is ID3 v. 2.3. Maybe in your case it might be something else, but make sure to compare the ones that work with the ones that don't work in mp3tag, and see if there is a difference between the versions of ID3.

None of the files are tagged with ID3v2.4. There doesn't seem to be any difference whatsoever between the ones that read properly and the ones that don't.
