dannn
Yes you can erase the disc, erase just one track or rename tracks or rename the whole disc. as for copying from MD->PC it is possible but NOT THROUGH NETMD. you must use an analog cable to RECORD to the PC(realtime recording). if you really need a feature where you can DOWNLOAD the tracks faster than realtime you can sign the UPLOAD PETITION. you can find it on minidisc.org someone is eventually going to write sofatware that will do this. can somone post the upload program that automatically records to the pc?? i lost the link. -dan
Mystyler
You also must remember that to delete/modify/edit/etc tracks you downloaded via NetMD, you have to go back to your PC and delete them using OpeMG, otherwise your unit will give you a "TrProtect" error. Real-time recordings are unaffected.
Bazirker
If you use OpenMG, then you can't rewrite the disc unless you delete the tracks/disc with OpenMG, checking back in the tracks and that crap. if you use NetMD simple burner, you can simply delete the tracks/disc using either the unit or the program as if they were recorded in realtime. Track protection just pisses me off, so I always use simple burner. (Doesn't making it so you can't modify tracks with your MD recorder defeat one of the original purposes of the MD system?) This is the one single reason why I hate OpenMG with a burning passion and LOVE NetMD simple burner.
