All you need is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male-male stereo cable.

Connect one end to your R37's line out and the other to the iMac's line in. You'll also need some kind of recording software.

From an R37 there is no way to upload digitally, or at high speed.

could someone advise me how to transfer from a MD MZ-R37 to a iMac.can I do it digitally, or I have to do analog, what kind of cable do I need?

Analog it is... and as Mystyler said.. u need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable... if u dont know what that is.. its just a cable with a headphone plug on either side...

then record it on a program like CoolEdit.. but i think that is for Windows.. so.. try and find one for iMac..
