darK (aka Tharaka)
hmm.. not sure... try just using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.. and record through analog.. unless you have optical out on these sound boards...
Webmaster
Sound boards provide LINE output levels, so plugging the sound board output into your MZ-N505 should work fine.

Guest Anonymous
Most soundboards have stereo RCA line outputs so you need an adapter with 2 male rca ends on one end and 1/8 inch mini plug on the other end which you can get at radio shack for about 5$ thanks Scott Verbeek Stealth Audio Microphones www.stealthaudio.net
Guest Anonymous
Depending on what sound board you are using depends on how you set it up. A decent board will have a 2-track send function which is outputed by 2 RCA phono plugs (L&R). Or the board may have auxliary sends in which you can route several channels to an auxilary bus, outputed usually through 1/4" jacks or XLR. Either way, you will probably need to get adapters to fit your MD recorder. Cheers.
