Guest Anonymous
Hi! As you know, Sony E888LP are very very good earphones  . But when you just buy the best minidisc player too, Sharp MD-DS8, there is a problem! If you want the best sound with Sharp DS8, you should use 4 polar jack system earphones rather than 3 polar standard jack system. DS8 is made to be used with 4 polar jack system earphones. The problem is here: how to do with Sony E888LP's 3 polar standard jack system? Somebody has already tried to modify its E888LP into 4 polar jack system? Where can man buy 4 polar goldplated jack L plug? :?:
me
Your included buds are four polar.. Feel like doing a cable swap?

me
It should be possible though.. But i'm fairly certain Sony's wires are covered in an enamal, and are tricky to solder. And your buds wouldn't work with normal 3 polar equipment.. Hmmm, I need some sennhesier MX400s. That would be an ideal candidate.. Oh man, I don't want to kill these four pole buds though. Heh. dannn
an easy way to strip the wires is to use fire. when my ex70s wire got cut the wires were too thin to strip with a blade so i just burned the covering off and reattached them. just a tip for you. -dan
anodize*skyther
unless you use dolby headphone mode (which sounds like crap anyway imo), you have no use for a dolby plug
