Sharp MD-DR7 1-Bit MDLP is it the best sharp around?

just to make sure .. i am almost ready to get this one, but since i havent seen many posts about it still having second thoughts..

is it the best sharp, whith all the sharp features like manual controls making it a leading portable-pocket minidisc?

mt-190

mt-770/888

mt-880/899

is it better?

or i shouldn't bother ordering from japan?

It's better than all of those, except it doesn't have netmd.

NetMD is for .mp3, .wma, or .wav transfer at high speed. Yes, computer based. If you don't care for recording from a computer faster than real time with LP2 quality max (it's not REALLY bad, but not the best), then you don't need NetMD.

also NetMD is just seen as a convenience when u wanna transfer music files from ur computer to the MD faster than realtime...itz a time saver but not realli neccessary...

The DR7 seems to have more playback options, but from everything I've heard, in terms of live recording the MT888/770 and the DR7 encode exactly the same.
