Guest Anonymous
Apart from the obvious differences (internal battery type, casing material, slight difference in size and layout), are there any technical/audio/feature differences between the Sony MZ-N10 and the MZ-N910? :? MDX-400
A lot of people are saying that the N910 is the more practical unit now. The N910 uses the Ni-MH Gumstick instead of a Li-Ion internal battery and is said to last longer (because the Li-Ion inside the N10 is very small, not because Ni-MH is necessarily better than Li-Ion). Also the N910 offers Joint-Text as this feature has been brought back. Though Joint-Text isn't really the easiest to use feature, still, it is a feature the N10 doesn't have. As far as the rest of the unit goes they are likely very similar (if not the same) in terms of mechanisms and sound quality. The other thing to consider is that the N10 is apparently more available at present moment than the N910. This sometimes makes the price difference between the two very small and in some intances the N910 might be more expensive to obtain than an N10. Roland M.
