Rechargeable battery in an MZ-N505

I have an MZ-N505. Can I use/recharge any brand of NiMH or NiCd rechargeable battery in this unit, or do I have to get a "special" battery from Sony? Thanks.

you can use any AA battery or rechargeable battery with this machine. its no problem

Yes, any AA battery, from rechargable NiCds, all the way up to the mega-expensive use once Lithium AAs.
