Guest Anonymous
Hey, i've got the NetMD for about a month, maybe a little more... it's new and i've been recording, at first i've gotten the things i've moved through the USB clear sounded... I always record via LP4... and now everything i move with the USB, comes out having hiss sounds at high pitch voices or high bass lines... I'd appreciate the help, got to correct this problem cause it's making me go crazy, every thing i'd listen to from OpenMG Jukebox would sound the same way with the hisses before i would even transfer things, i now use the realone player to move and still have the same problem, the same hisses, what could of happened to the software? or is it some other problem? please help!!!! -ouijakid
Sugo
In case your source files are mp3s ... I believe openmg has a really bad mp3 decoder. This has been reported by many other users before. Realone uses openmg behind the scene so they will come out the same. I only use sonicstage and never has that problem. I would suggest try uninstalling openmg and install sonicstage 1.5. Guest Anonymous
i was looking for sonicstage 1.5 and couldn't not notice the fact that the only version out is in japenese... do i sound japenese to you? besides that i'm totaly unsure what's wrong.... whenever i record things with low bass... there aren't hissing sounds, and i've tried recording directly to the md through the line in and the same thing, the same parts with the high bass have hiss sounds... i have no idea how this could be, the fact that it's playing on my comp and on the md, meaning the problem is somewere in my comp or my md because from direct recording and regular usb... and it plays that way through openmg jukebox.... hmm
Guest Anonymous
it's a MZ-N505 if i didn't note in past msgs and i've tried realone player and openmg jukebox... and tried directly recording through the line in cable... and i've tried playing the files in winamp and in openmg, you can hear the diffrence, no hiss sounds in winamp

Guest Anonymous
 I found out that when i play the songs in sonicstage and openMG jukebox i hear the clicking hiss sounds too, and then when i check the song out in any other program to hear the song... i don't!! how can this be possible, something's fishy, i thought maybe it's the codec, i think that it's the Atrac 3 Codec i've got, maybe something corrupted? i don't think so cause it's what i got with my NetMD, if anyone knows anything, maybe some codec that fuc*ed it up or something... i've tried using sonicstage 1.5 english, and it does seem more user friendly and stuff.. but i still get the clicking sounds when reaching high pitched tones in the song. Daijoubu
Every MP3 decoder is different, you may use WinAmp to decode the MP3s to wav and then record to your MD with OMG/SS
Guest Anonymous
Hi. Sorry (hope I don't sound that stupid) but I'm new at this and would like to know if Sonicstage will work with the MZ-N707. Neither OpenMG or Simple Burner will work on my computer (I got as far as installing the software, but "External device/media not found" always comes up). I think it's because the application software isn't supported in an environment where an upgrade has been made i.e. Windows 95 to Windows 98. [Can someone please verify this?] Thus, is there an alternative? What about Nero? (I saw the post about it.) Can Nero be used inclusively? That is, can I use Nero without having to use Simple Burner? Thanks. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Guest Anonymous
 Hello, I do have the same problem of statics in the sound when I m playing or downloading my MP3 under Sonicstage. I can't find any reason for it. But I have tried to download my mp3 on my mz-n10 using the SimpleBurner methode, and it works ! There is no statics in songs anymore. Thats strange. Anyway, I'm glad it works now! I hope this can help you.
