Guest Anonymous
i have a sony mzr-900 minidisk recorder. i plugged in the usb link and my computer installed the proper drivers listing it as a ' sony music device' in my REALONE player application. now comes the transfers- oh wait a minute! what transfers? i told the player to transfer the music to my device and there was just nada, null, no-sale. the optical digital link to my recorder from my p.c said " no signal 'from my recorder's display. is the signal analog or do i need permission from REALONE to make the transfers to my device. if so what the hell do i need to do or buy ? i contacted sony.com half a dozen times and they have not helped me. openMG does not work with my recorder. the only advice they told me in general was to load up the song press play and record in real time using my minidisk. but there are no transfers. help. Bazirker
Sorry for being the bearer of bad news...but an MZ-R900 can't "transfer" music; it does not have NetMD capabilities. The only way to record a minidisc using an MZ-R900 is to record it in realtime.
Daijoubu
Isn't it a PCLink? You have to choose the playback device and then use winamp to play and record in realtime
