Red_Baron
Hello! I decided to buy a NetMD. I'm looking at the models, specs and so on for a few days and there is one thing i know for sure- my head hurts! The problem is that every netMD has at least 2 versions for different markets. And, of course, I always like the uk market version, but I’m buying at usa. And all of the md i like have the stupid car kit. How does that thing work anyway? I really don't need it. Is it expensive? I mean if i buy a md with CK in it, will i loose much of my money on smth i don't need? Plz help me with choosing. I need: 1. sony netMD 2. recorder 3. remote (LCD is preferred, doesn’t have to be backlit) 4. rechargeable battery 5. in-ear headphones ( if it has the on-ear headphones, change the number 6 to $200) 6. price lower then $230 7. NO CAR KIT, NO RADIO 8. this is not the most important but NON-plastic case would be nice N707 is ok, but the usa ver has the stupid car kit (uk ver doesn’t have that, and it has nice lcd remote). n710 has a weak power.(1.2mW I believe). What that means?J 810 is ok, but it’s a bit expensive, It has radio, and stupid us ver has on-ear headphones. thanks!
Red_Baron
I've read a few posts and found aout that 1.2mW output for the n710 is not that bad and i finnaly found my MD! And later i found out that it can't be found on the US MARKET!! WHY? Is it possible to find it in NYC?
Leland
The best way to solve your problem is to just add money. Forget about your $230 limitation and get a N10 or N910. If you use it for 5 years and pay $100 more for it, you will be spending less than two dollars a month more. Think of it as two trips to the grocery store and go on a diet. N10 is, but it has stupid headphones (i want in-ear)
