maia
Cheers, I own an MZ-R700. I've read the MZ-R700 to 900 hack. And the ability to use the 900 remote on the 700. Is it just plug and that's it? Or will I have to do any changes on the electrical bus? Coz I tried to use my MZ-R700 remote on a Sony Discman (I know ) and the buttons were screwed up, like, the other way around... So, basically, if I buy the 900 LCD Remote is it just plug it in on the 700, and that's it? Free, new 3 features (Tempo, Backlight and LCD)? Thx m8's. Christopher
Yes. I use the RM-MC12ELK with my hacked '700 every day. Works quite well. muhahah k
maia
But the RM-MC12ELK is not the 900s remote... What is that remote?
Guest Anonymous
Oh. The remote I have came with the N1 then, I think.. I got one from audiocubes.com a while back; works quite well with a hacked '700. k
maia
So, is the remote mentioned from the N1?
Christopher
I don't understand your question. :?
maia
kurisu, the remote u have is from the MZ-N1? Coz that is not from the R900...
Christopher
I think so. Too lazy to check. All I know is that the remote I have works very well with the '700, and I'm sure the remote for the '900 will probably work just as well. Cheers. maia
That's what I think so... Also, if I buy the R900 remote, should I do the hack before installing the new remote or then?
Christopher
It doesn't matter, but you should probably just do the hack before.
