Guest Anonymous
I would like to have a small mic mixer so I can plug in 2-3 mics to conduct some round-table type interviews for segements on my net radio show anywhere I need to meet with people (Nexus Radio - www.craniumnexus.net). I would plug this directly into the line-in jack on my Sony MZ-R900. Any suggestions?? thanks, Brandon www.craniumnexus.net
Guest Anonymous
You could use a split stereo input cable, which you could probably get from RadioShack very cheaply. I've got one with two inputs for two stereo inputs, which works very well. I don't know if you can get one for 3 inputs, but you could piggy back two together I suppose. A proper mixer with volume level controls would cost a lot more, not sure of any particular makes. I have a mono mixer, but don't use it very much. Guest Anonymous
Hi. Look at Behringers site. They have a small mixer (502 or 602 i think the number was). And they only cost about 50-60 Euro. /Magnus
Guest Anonymous
I agree that a small 6 or 8 channel Behringer would be perfect! Check out www.musiciansfriend.com, or a Guitar Center store... they'll have the best prices on something like that (I think that you could get a 6 channel for about $70). Guest Anonymous
A mic mixer adds amplification to the microphone signal, and the output of the mixer should indeed be plugged into the 'line in' jack on your recording device.
