daveb
Hello, I was wondering if anybody has encountered a similar problem to this: My DHC-MD333 doesnt seem to be able to save the TOC information correctly any more. If the TOC is edited, it appears to be saved on the disc. If switched off and on the TOC remains. However once the disc is ejected and reinserted, the TOC reverts to the original or sometimes is corrupt and a disc error is reported. Stranger still is that if I put the disc in my MZ-R501 then this can read the edited TOC on the disc. Meaning that the disc has two different TOCs depending on which machine reads it. Could just be old disc but it seems to happen every time. Any solutions gratefully accepted. David

Guest Anonymous
I've had similar problems with an MZ-R90 portable recorder. Sounds like the write laser is ready to give in. Check out this thread for further info. http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?t=1623 Nick S.
daveb
Thanks for the help. It does appear to be just a couple of faulty discs.
