I have an MD player in my car (I don't think it is LP compatible) but I was wondering can I do somthing when I record using the netMD to allow the disks to play in the car? maia Posted July 2, 2003 Report Share Posted July 2, 2003 U main problem is not Net MD. Could U give us the reference of the car's MD? We'll / I'll (if it's Sony, faster :wink: ) tell u whether the unit supports LP mode or not. If it doesn't, all u have to do is record MD's in normal mode or Mono (In normal nothing appears on the display, when in mono, "mono" appears on the LCD. I didn't think it would be, but it is still possible to use the "drag'n'drop" netMD proceedure to record MD's that are still playable in that player? (ie. Ur car MD radio doesn't record and doesn't have MDLP. So, if u buy the MZ-N910 u'll get a Net MD with MDLP. Beware that when doing this, if u want to listen the MD's on ur car, u'll have to record in Mono or Stereo, not LP4 or 2... Just like I stated before. Nope, I just got mine from japan-direct.com, and I live in Finland. If they can throw a NetMD halfway around the globe with a 1 year warranty, then they surely can throw it to Australia too As maya said, you need to check the AC current (japan-direct has power converters too). Also, you can record in any mode via NetMD, but the music will always be converted to MDLP, and only then to SP.
