MP3 to ATRAC Conversion

Im not sure if this has already been discussed b4 or not, but ive been having alot of problems when trying to convert mp3/wav to atrac, sonicstage says that they were successfully optimized to the atrac-3 format, but then it hasnt actually saved the atrac file anywhere

i go on file information and it only has the origional mp3, and not the new atrac, i even looked into the storage directory, it has all my previously converted files, but not any of the new files,

what is going on? sonicstage used 2 work fine, and now it jus cant convert files to atrac rendering my mini disc player useless coz i cant put songs onto it using my pc.

i have tried reinstalling sonicstage, but it still doesnt work, i have got ova 10 gigs of space so it not a space problem

Sony MZ-N910

1ghz athlon

80 gig seagate hdd

640 ram

hmmm...not too sure y this would happen but it sounds like a bug in SonicStage to me...I've had this problem occur to me on my N10 and i just did a complete re-install of SonicStage and it was back to normal...but you've already tried that soo i'm not entirely sure sorry...

well u could use alternate programs such as Simple Burner or Real One for example to transfer your songs from your PC -> MD...so effectively it doesn't render your MD useless...
