Blackie_Chan
I'm currently thinking of getting the 510. I read somewhere that each song title could be at most 10 characters long. Is that true? When I convert an .mp3 to atrac does the song title remain the same? On the display, how many characters of the song title is displayed at a time? Does the title scroll? mAjEsTiC
I read somewhere that each song title could be at most 10 characters long. Is that true?not too sure where you heard this but i've had titles longer than this on my MD unit/Disc... When I convert an .mp3 to atrac does the song title remain the same?yep all the id3 tags should remain the same...depending on which id3 tag you've written to (i.e. in winamp you have the ability to title 2 id3 tags and depending on which one you title will affect what is going to be displayed in sonicstage/openmg/simpleburner/real on...i think it relies on the id3 tag 1 for the info)... On the display, how many characters of the song title is displayed at a time? Does the title scroll?not too sure exactly the number of characters that can be displayed at one time onscreen but i would guess around about 8-10 characters on my N1 & N10 units...and yes the title does scroll... Guest Anonymous
Hello! I agree with mAjEsTiC: the title scroll, but the screen on the unit isn't really readable...if i were you Blackie_Chan, i would change the remote control and buy a LCD remote control illuminated, it would be better for you... mAjEsTiC
the LCD on the unit is fine if you're using your MD during the day time where there is plenty of ambient light (since the main LCD isn't backlit) but if your planning to use it at night then i suggest (as Guest said above) that you invest in a nice backlit remote (the RM-MC33EL/35ELK would do just fine)...
