mAjEsTiC
the choice is ultimately up to you...there are pros and cons for both media and which one that i would suggest would depend on your needs...i own both and ipod and md units plus various other flash card based mp3 players and i still stick to md since of its flexibility and recording features...it suits my needs so i still use MD...the hdd based mp3 player would be good for archiving most of your music because of the size and it also comes with the problems that plague harddrives as well...(i.e. all hard drives will eventually fail)...so if you want something that is good for storing huge amount of songs on a portable medium then you can't go wrong with a hard drive based player but also you can't really "swap" music with your friends if say they have a song on their hdd based player that you want...u need a computer to do this unlike MD's (which is good for me since a lot of ppl i kno use MD's)...but it's not like an LP2 recorded MD doesn't hold more than enough for the trip on public transport every day...
Guest Anonymous
How long does a md player last, like mzn910 or mzn10 i looked at both, both looked flimsy because of their non apparent weight, ill use a case logic armband stlye case for it, and which headphones should i use? i dont think i can use eggo's for school, so is there any good clip-on's around? btw mzn910 is 200 usd in japan, probably about 210 usd in hk, and how long does a hd player last? mAjEsTiC
well i can't say exactly when coz it all depends on how much u use it and also how you treat the unit...it can range from a few months to many years i can't say for sure how long since hard drives fail at different rates depending on how you use it...but treating it properly would probably see that you get the best out of it for many years...
