:? Hi,

Well my problem is just that i want to buy a MiniDisc recorder just to copy tunes from my CD player and PC (say for example MP3), there is just so much out there and don't know how to go about this.

I'm based in the UK so just wondering if there are any good sites to look at etc.... and places to buy from. I'm a student so on a bit of a budget so really looking for something decent but cheap/cheapest possible for what I want?

Can any1 help....? thanks for ya time

cheers,

Suds

ppl do have their reasons of buying MD's...they are very very flexible in terms of recording, are very rugged (i.e. the media itself), very small and light plus have long playback times...quality wise i think that the ATRAC codec is more nicer to listen to than mp3 in terms of quality...i don't know how or why but it seems that even with compression ATRAC seems to retain most of the data copied from say a CD whereas mp3's do lose the data inbetween meaning that the quality does go down as you compress more...ATRAC does this also but it seems less noticeable...ppl may not agree with me but this is my opinion...

ok surely atract3+ is good than mp3 , if you use waw.

but

is waw to mp3 to atrac3+lp2 still good than waw to mp3 to mp3cd player?

ok maybe md is good than mp3 player..

and if u never use mp3,why should you buy a md player?

use your cd player for more sound q. (it is1441 kbs..)
