drew_
hi, just wanted to get people's opinion on v-surround. been playing around with it on my sis's n10 and feel that it makes the music sound 'hollow' and 'less colourful'. the 6-band equaliser seems more useful though. anyway...again, would like to hear some opinions which may influence whether i will have it on my next purchase of a portable player. btw...reckon the e620/e720 in green looks fantastic. drew. (a little worried because of research and design project)
KJ_Palmer
I'm very disappointed with the v-surround on my E10. I never bother with it now, or any of the other sound modes, apart from the graphic equaliser, which is indeed very good through Sennheisser phones. mAjEsTiC
i totally agree with KJ_Palmer above...V-Surround is more or less useless 4 me on both my N10 and E10 units..i use my custom EQ settings most of the time now...outputted through the E888 earbuds...sounds alright...tho not as nice as my DS8 on the E888's... Bazirker
Yeah...before I had my N10, I remember defending v-surround on a post suggesting that you probably had to have really really good headphones for it to sound well. Now that I've heard it...oops, I think I was wrong. There has to be some purpose to v-surround...but as best I can tell it just makes your audio sound empty. Has anyone tried it on like a stereo with multiple speakers? Maybe it works really well then, or something. I dunno.
