Hi all,

Please could someone advise myself about buying a new battery.

I have looked through many webpages but cannot come to a decision on which battery is best for my MZN707

Please advise if a NIMH 1400 would be best suited or not...

Thankx

um well i never charge those batteries in the unit newayz...usually they come with an option of buying them with a charger (i.e. the Sony one's do) and it'll be best charging them through there...and amount of hours...i have nooo idea since i havn't done a comparison but it would be longer than than of an alkaline AA could supply...

Maybe im better off just sticking to the one I have as im off travelling for 6 months and don't want to carry a charger about....

One other question I have.

I recorded a DJ mix off the internet last night and it was about 70 mins long. Im quite new to MD so am not that knowledgable.......But I wanted to insert track marks.........I tried this once recorded and the meesage TR protected kept on appearing, I referenced my manual and it tells me to check the music back into the PC. But how do I create track marks once in OPENMG.................Help much appreciated

um u can divide the track up within OpenMG by basically making sure that the file that you want to split up is in ATRAC format (already been "optimized") and then just highlight the song and then go to the EDIT menu and select the option Divide... then use the slider to tell where you want to split the file up...then once that's done it should create 2 song files in which u can transfer them over to the MD...(sorry i could be wrong because i hav'n divided track in OpenMG in a long time)
