deepchord Posted October 8, 2003 Report Share Posted October 8, 2003 Hi, I'm looking for a recordable MD that can play really loud but still keep the quality of the sound. I'm gonna use it with a pair of Sennhesier HD 25 SP 1 and Grado SR 125 headphones. Soundquality is all that matters and the price is not of concern. Any ideas on what to buy? I've also been looking at various mp3-players but the sound from them didn't impress me much. Are all MD's considered better then mp3's(even with the highest bitrate) in terms of soundquality or is it just me that has picked up crapy mp3-players? Thanks in advance! mAjEsTiC Posted October 9, 2003 Report Share Posted October 9, 2003 well i'd say the ipod has gr8 sound...i own 1 and the sound is pretty darn good in comparison with other mp3 players out there (i also own 2 panasonic SD players and one sony ms walkman)...the music recorded on MD in SP mode sounds really really good...LP2 to most people is as good as SP since most people can't tell the difference between the two...and if you want really powerful sound in an MD u can't go past the Sharp units...
