Paul C
Just joined. I bought a Sharp DR-7 this summer and have used it to record several concerts. I want to transfer the shows from MD onto CDR. A friend suggested using EAC to help create tracks on the CD. First I need to get the music into the computer. Then comes the EAC which is way over my head (minimally compuer literate). Hoping for some kind souls to educate me and not crucify me. mAjEsTiC
heyy there, well wot i suggest is hooking up a 3.5mm stereo cable from your MD's Headphone/Line OUT to the LINE IN of your sound card on the computer...use a program such as Creative Recorder (if you own a creative soundcard) or a program such as Adobe Audition (this is very easy to use btw) to record the sound from the MD onto your PC...this would save into a .wav format...then basically open up your burning software and burn the wav files onto an Audio CD and u're done...=)
Guest Anonymous
Try cdwave to cut in tracks. Be sure to use Disc-at-once when you burn your CD so there won't be gaps between tracks.
Guest Anonymous
If you have track marks on the MD, this program records them as separate .wav files that you can then burn onto CD. It costs about $15 and needs to run with NetMD and Windows .net. http://christian.klukas.bei.t-online.de/fi...md/winNetMD.htm If you just want to record one long track into the computer from MD and chop it up later, use Audacity freeware sound recorder/editor. http://audacity.sourceforge.net CoolEdit Pro is a very good program, but not cheap.
