Guest Anonymous
I'm going to buying one of them. Not sure which one is the best. i'm still iffy about the netMD because I know you can't transfer at the real quality of SP (2xx kbps). So NetMD is not the feature I really care. However I do really care about built quality. Which one these have the best built quality and less problem? These are the pro and con I have so far but I'd like some experts opinion on them as well N10 PRO lightest pretty cheap ~350CAD I can get it. CON non-removable battery weakest battery life N1 PRO removable battery CON older model heaviest N910 PRO removable battery newest model has a nice blue colour Japanese model has Kanji support on the remote CON not too sure about warranty in Canada? these are all i have now because I can really test them out to see the sound quality (but i'll assume they are the same more or less) and also the remote from the US model doesn't support kanji but how would you even write the names of the songs in kanji/english? Using NetMD's software or you have to inputted yourself?
mAjEsTiC
a few extra grams on the N1 isn't going to make much of a difference...and i like the sound output of my N1 as opposed to my N10...the N910 is an interesting unit and seems like the model inbetween the two series so i would probably suggest you to take a look at that model...alternatively you could take a look at the new Sharp models as they seem to be very promising models... TenzoR
that was me above that asked the question I forgot to log in, thanks for the reply on teh N1 sound output. I'm more interested in Sony models for the US because I can always get the warranty for it which is important to me. So far the cheapest N1 i found is around 300~ USD where as N10 I can get it for $250 USD which I can spend towards a better earphones. As for sharp i thought about it, but due to warranty issue and prices i'm not sure if they are worth the extra buck?
mAjEsTiC
fair enough...Sharp units have really nice sound (esp. units utilising the 1-bit amp)...Sony is so-so IMO...my N1 has E888's attached to it and they sound good...the N10 has the EX71's attached to them...my Sharp DS8 has the stock headphones attached to them and they more or less match the Sony's with the upgraded earbuds...dunno if they beat them but i'd say it matches up to it quite well... TenzoR
if I do get a sharp MD will I be able to get any sort of Warranty in Canada? Unless I buy from a respectable online source that will supply their own warranty?
mAjEsTiC
um most legit (and reliable resellers) that i've seen so far carry warranty so if the unit does happen to screw up then you just send it back to them and they'll ship you a replacement... Just gossip: ordered one SHARP MT480 from TeamDigtal for 358 CAD, all costs included。Then I found there were dirty cheap offers around 270 CAD (210 USD) in mainland China everywhere
