swolf82
Hello, I have a problem with my Sony MZ-N707 minidisc. I'm using OpenMG Jukebox ver 2.2.09.04100 on Windows 98 SE. The program does recognize the minidisc player and the recorded files, but it cannot check in the recorded files. In front of the song beneath title (in front of "01" trackname) there is a kind of paragraph sign. The files have been recorded with a Sony ECM-717 and saved as ATRAC in Stereo (SP). Is there a solution for my problem? I already tried to unistall en reinstall the software, and also to download the latest version and drivers, but this isn't working. Thank you for your co-operance. Greetings, Stan from Holland.
Christopher
Should've done your homework before you bought the unit, friend. There is no check-in/upload on any current NetMD Minidisc players. You may purchase a deck with a digital out, and connect it to a source that allows a digital in to do true digital MD uploads. swolf82
Hi kurisu, I don't quite think you understand me. Uploading is possible on my minidisc from pc to md, and in reverse, with Open MG. But the question I have is the other way round, to check in recorded songs, in stead of earlier uploaded i.e. mp3 songs. Hope you can also answer this question. Kind regards, Stan Wolf. mAjEsTiC
??? i'm kinda confused atm so lemme take a while and get this straight... you recorded a song in SP mode onto your MD unit not using OpenMG and you can upload/check-in to OpenMG??? because if so then kurisu is right and NetMD wasn't designed so that you can upload songs that you have recorded (or a friend recorded) from the MD -> PC...but if you transfered the song via NetMD thru OpenMG on another computer (in SP mode) and try to check the song into your computer this also won't allow you to do this...i'm not quite sure what you're trying 2 get at here so i apologize if i misunderstood the message you're trying to get across to us... tmeg
I think the confusion comes because Sony speaks of "Check-In"/"Check-out" and of "uploading" or so. Unfortenately we all (or most of us) know that a "real" Check-In is not possible.
