H22CRXSOL
Anybody else have problems with wearing the supplied earbuds for extended periods of time. I've got an MZ-N10 and after a short while, when I take the earbuds out, my ears ache. Like they're stretching the lobes of my ears. Has anybody else experienced this and has any tips for placement of the earbuds?
KJ_Palmer
Yes, I find the Sony stock earphones too big for my ears too. So, I replaced them, with a set of Sennheisser MX500 earphones. They're smaller, more comfortable (especially with the foam pads) and sound about a million times better!
Bazirker
I think basically all earbuds are uncomfortable except for EX71-style buds. That's why I basically use only EX71's and my D66's. Hard plastic knobs in my ears aren't comfy.
H22CRXSOL
Cool, thanks. Those earbuds both of you recommend, do you do any jogging with them and if so do they fall out? Anybody have any experiences or thoughts on these?
mAjEsTiC
i use the E888's and EX71's...both come recommended...and as for the 1's u mentioned above they're pretty reasonable as well...
KJ_Palmer
I don't go jogging, but sometimes I run for the bus or train... They (that is the Senn MX500) don't fall out then, the foam pads do a nice job of keeping them in place, and you don't get that hard-plastic feel in your lugs... mAjEsTiC
yep i agree...i use the foam pads for any of my earbuds and they do a great job keeping them in place if u do a short sprint for a bus or something...but if you want to go jogging i think the Street Style headfones that go around the back of the head are best suited for this as they hardly get in the way or fall off (since my friends use these when they go jogging...) i've seen many ppl use normal earbud when jogging so i think it's not that much of a problem... Bazirker
EX71's stay in my ears really well, I've never had trouble with them simply falling out. I've worked out in them before and they're great. I think normal buds usually fall out... As for those clip-on ones, I personally dislike them and think they bounce around during physical activity, but I've seen people work out with them on before.
