Guest Anonymous
Hi I am interested in taping concerts with a Minidisc Recorder. From small clubs to arenas. What would one recommend for me to purchase??? I would like advice on a suitable Minidisc Recorder and Mic. I dont really want to spend an arm and a leg But I would like a very good stereo mic. Thanks for the help lildevil
mAjEsTiC
get a Sharp recorder (any would be fine since they're all really good recorders ~ depending on you're budget will depend on the model but even the cheapest one is sufficient enough to meet your demands i would think...unless u're planning on using this as a pro recording then i'm not too sure) but for mics generally i use either Sennheisers or Sony...again doesn't really matter which one but look for the ones that support Plug-In power (i.e. non-powered amp) and whether or not they're omni-directional, uni-directional etc...models that i use from Sony include the ECMDS70P, ECMMS907 and ECMZS90...all are very good for recording... lildevil
Thanks for the reply. What SHARP models could you recommend??? I would like a newer model that supports the mp3's. Also, How do the Core Sound mics compare to the Sony mics?? Thanks
mAjEsTiC
i would probably recommend u to take a look at the DR580 unit...very nice unit...making me want to get one... and i'm not too sure about Core Sound mics since i'v never used them...i'm sure they're pretty good...
