Guest Anonymous
Hi there - hope someone can help me! I've just borrowed a mate's Sony MZ-R90, put a disc in, but now it won't come out. It plays just fine, so there doesn't seem to be a disc error, but the eject button does nothing. Does anyone have any tips on this, or am I going to have to get it repaired? Many thanks in advance. spellcasterbr
hello! i'm having the same problem!! its the second time it happens... When I was recording some tracks with SonicStage, the battery of my Sony MZ-NE410 worn out and I received a "low bat" warning before the device went off. After replacing the old battery, my NET MD DITN'T OPEN after pressing the eject button anymore. And so, the disct doesnt come out. what can I do? this is the first time it happens (I had to pay $20 to get it fixed at a local Sony Support Center, but I'm getting a little frustrated with my device because it uses too much of the battery capacity when recording). spellcasterbr
u can take off the top cover (with the LCD screen) and gently eject it that way...Which one? the one with two screws on the left? (one near the eject button and the other on the left, near the "net md walkman" sign?) can you tell me how can I eject it that way? will the eject button start working properly once I do this? mAjEsTiC
basically the screws that u can see on the top cover u take out and take it off slowly...i just checked to see what was jamming up the switch and then with the cover off it should either eject or u can maually eject it by dislodging wotever it is that's screwing with the eject mechanism...and then put everything back together and all should be good...that's how it was when i fixed the eject mechanism on the R900...
