woppin
hey guys, well i was poking around at the sony site looking at the N910 and N10 units, and i saw the following: Frequency Response 20 - 20,000Hz (+/- 3dB) Power Handling Capacity 5mW + 5mW output level Now does that mean the advantages in buying the EX70 or EX71 earphones are slighter than you would originally think? The earphones that come with the unit have a frequency response range similar to the unit, whereas the more expensive headgear seems to be "too good" so to speak. But then my friend tells me the human ear only really receognises from about 50 - 17000 anyway, so including noise-cancelling-goodness, do $100 earphones represent a $100 improvement? cheers. mAjEsTiC
whether or not the price tag justifies the improvement is up to the user to decide...it is indeed a big improvement over the stock standard earbuds that they give you but whether or not they are worth the $100 upgrade depends on what the user defines as a $100 improvement...i'm happy with My E888's and EX71's...both are a major upgrade than the E805's and E838's that came with my N1 and N10 units respectively...
