Guest Anonymous
Hey there, im having problems with Simpleburner. Im using the M3U2SBurner with Simpleburner, it used to work fine but now for some reason after doing about 3 tracks it says that "The recording session has failed". Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I would use RealONE or Sonicstage but i cant record tracks properly using that either, as they are full of crackles. mAjEsTiC
so you also tried re-installing the drivers and such? hmmm...sounds like something might be corrupt...have you tried recording say the same song but using OPTIC/LINE Out in realtime and see if there are any crackles??? if there isn't then it is indeed something wrong with the program that you're using...i think it's best to do a fresh install of those programs again... Guest Anonymous
thanks so much for replying Majestic. i dont think you have understood the problem properly, i dont think i explained it very well  when i first got it, i tried SonicStage, apart from that fact that the software is really awful, i had serious problems with loud tracks, i would get crackling at the loud bits, even when simply playing the MP3 in SonicStage. The same thing happens in RealPlayer, it pretty much applies to most of the tracks i listen to. The M3U2SB and SimpleBurner method worked perfectly, simple, effective, no crackling on loud tracks, it was everything i wanted. But recently, SimpleBurner has packed up, now it only records 5 tracks and says "The Recording Session Has Failed", and gradually records less and less tracks on each try until it does not work at all I tried removing all sony stuff from the system, in that case SimpleBurner did not work and simply (no pun intended) crashed when i tried to start it up (i later found out this is because SonicStage/OpenMG was not installed). It now starts up, however the track info is simply just black so i cant read it at all, and it still fails when recording. Hope that fills you in a bit
mAjEsTiC
ah rite...ok well did u make sure that the EQ settings were set to off??? If it still does crackle then i suggest you normalise you're mp3's using a program called mp3gain so that it can try and lower the crackling... apart from that i think it's a gneral fault with the software if it won't record any songs across...i think the best way to fix this is to uninstall everything and do a fresh install of all the software including the NetMD driver...since i had a problem a while back with SimpleBurner displaying a black box and when i re-installed everything was ok again... sorry bout misunderstanding ur post b4...oh and install all the updates that OpenMG and SonicStage put up on the net...they mite help fix up some of these problems as well... Guest Anonymous
ok, it still dosent work. Im starting to get incredibly annoyed with this, anything i installed thats related to Sony seems to be tottaly useless. i'm really sick of this now. How can i tottaly cleanse my system of Sony software? It would be particularly sad if i had to reformat my system to actually get this useless hunk of junk working. The sad thing is, the NetMD is a great idea let down by how utterly AWFUL any software sony produces is.

Guest Anonymous
right, it seems it works ok if i normalise the MP3s using MP3 Gain then transfer them using RealONE player, i really cant stand to use sonicstage, its so stupidly confusing and annoying for what is essentially a simple function.
