Guest Anonymous
I need some help. I haxe just got a sony MZ-N710 and most things are fine except when it comes to the main thing it was bought for. I am a DJ and can record my Work on to the MD, but I would like to then transfer this work to my computer and then to a CD-R this is where it fails 75% into the process of checking in to the HDD. Does this mean I need a Sony Vaio Computer? I can't believe this is the case. Unless someone knows better
mAjEsTiC
NetMD wasn't designed for uploading music faster than real-time from MD -> PC, only downloads from PC -> MD...so u can't upload the recordings done by your unit to your HDD since it won't allow that and plus there isn't any uploading facility that will accomodate this...Sony does say something about being able to transfer music back onto the HDD but the only catch is that those music files have to be transfered from your PC -> MD first...i.e. if u don't check out the music files from your computer then u can't check it back in...you can however use a program that will allow for you to upload your music to your HDD but it can't be done faster than real-time i'm afraid...go here to view more info about how to use and where to d/l this program... PaulBennett
You haven't been articulate about what you are doing. You say you record your 'work'. What is that? Also, what connection are you using? What program are you using. It's no problem to connect the MD to the sound card and use any of many programs to transfer it onto the HD and a CD. You aren't going to get any worse quality by staying analog than you would get by a digital/digital transfer.
