Eric
Obviously I am new to md's. But I desperately need help. I have a sony MZ-R70 and would like to transfer the live recordings onto my computer. The md only has an optical in, mic in, and 2 headphone jacks. How do I get the recordings onto my computer? The people at sony said it can't be done. And does anyone have any suggestions on cheap microphones? And are there any hacks for this model? Thanks for the help because I have no prior experience with md's.
Kuoi
From the headphone jack to your Line-in from your PC . That's how I do it anyway , I can't figure out why it can't be done. You can use the mic-input of your PC , but you'l have much distortion then. Succes , Kuoi
Guest Anonymous
To get the recordings on computer, run a cable from the headphone output of the MD into the mic in/line-in of your computer. The get a free program like GoldWave (search for it at www.download.com) and play the MD back on computer and press record on GoldWave. Guest Anonymous
Do you know what the cable is called? I'm a beginner. Also, do you no if it is possible if you don't have a mic input on your pc, all I have is usb, and firewire inputs? I have a speaker and headphone out jack. Thanks again for all the help,
mAjEsTiC
u use the Line IN jack on your PC's soundcard...i think most of the soundcards out there already have it...the cable is just a typical double ended 3.5mm stereo plug that you can find in most electronic accessory stores...
