Jonks
Hi. Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in (if not I apologise), but here goes. I'm looking at purchasing a Sony CMT-M333NT, but actual, decent, technical reviews are few and far between and I'd really appreciate some feed back from anyone one owns, or has owned one. My main concern is that all the sources on the internet make no mention of an equaliser on it, does this mean that there is no equaliser, or they are simply not mentioning it? Also should I go with this unit, or should I shell out a bit more cash for another unit, and if so which one? Thanks in advance. KJ_Palmer
The CMT-333NT hasn't got a full equaliser, but you can adjust the bass and treble settings. Otherwise, it's a fairly nice little unit, sound is good if not quite spectacular and quite generously equipped and the price isn't bad at all for what you get. I don't use the NetMD bit, but I suspect that's up to Sony's usual standards . Very compact, so nice for the bedroom, though if you want better quality you should maybe look at a deck. Jonks
Thanks for the feedback guys. One of my concerns after the equaliser was the speakers. I don't know if 25W per channel will be enough. Most people say they are fine, as you have confirmed, and as I am going to using it in quite a small room 50W should fill it perfectly. Being able to adjust the bass and treble should be enough, although I would really like a full equaliser. Your positive feedback has convinced me to go ahead with the purchase. Thanks for the help.
