mAjEsTiC Posted December 2, 2003 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 no unfortunately it's not this easy...MD discs come in two varieties...the ones that we all use on our portable recorders/players that are NetMD capable cannot be used for data...these discs are simply called Audio MD's and can only store audio...there is a special type of disc called an MD data disc that existed a fair while back but u needed to use specialised drives in order to use them to store data...the only problem was that their storage capacity was small and the writing speed was slower than that of a floppy not to mention very expensive to buy and set up...so it didn't really take off...
