Is it worth the extra money? I will primarily/only be using the MD for field recording w/stereo mic, recordings that will then be further manipulated/treated/mangled on my Mac. mAjEsTiC Posted December 6, 2003 Report Share Posted December 6, 2003 if you want just a unit for recording and dont care about size, having backlit remote or any other extra features of the DR470 then the MT190 is enough to do the job...otherwise the DR470 is a very good unit if you want to spend that much and you most likely won't be disappointed with it...sounds great and is a small and light unit to carry around...
