Guest Anonymous
I caught this in Sony's new press release. There's a picture, but NOTHING ELSE! This MUST be a Hi-MD headunit- otherwise there would be no point in Sony even bothering with it. I sure hope so, because I'm already selling my MDX-CA680X on ebay in hopes of a serious Hi-MD upgrade. Check it out. http://news.sel.sony.com/digitalimages/pho...photo_id=154076
highlandsun
There's no HiMD logo on it. And it looks like it's only a changer-controller. It would be nice to see some HiMD head units though, definitely. Then I could quit copying commercial audio CDs to CDROM just to put CD-Text on them before loading them up... crazeybt1
well...altho it's not Hi MD i'm not in the car audio field..it plays mds yes..i guess the reason they still bothering with it is cuz it's XM ready.. that should be cool... jadeclaw
It does play MD. And MDLP. No Hi-MD. CD/MD-Changer-controls are included as well. For XM an additional box is necessary. US$379.99 at Crutchfield Audio.

jadeclaw
That's right, the XM tuner is not included. And it isn't necessary for you, as the service is not available in Antigua - Click
