mAjEsTiC Posted January 22, 2004 Report Share Posted January 22, 2004 i've used an iBook for about a week and so far it was pretty good...most of my friends have no problem with it at all so it shouldn't be a problem...i'm not too sure that NetMD was even supported by the Mac...hopefully it will be in the next generation as it gets annoying trying to transfer songs from the Mac -> MD... I'm interested in the technical side of this - how is handling track storage now, is that handled by the same thing (allowing a mixture of music and files on the same disk) etc.; I'd imagine that this isn't the case. Yes, but not for netMD - it is encoded in the software. Which is why people like me can't write decent 3rd party programs for netmd: the API is hidden behind all the ATRAC patents.
