Guest Anonymous
Any advice on a replacement for my 5 year old player would be appreciated. My primary requirements would be for sound quality followed by battery life and then PC connectivity. I have considered the Sony Net MD N-10 and the Sharp IMDR420H
mAjEsTiC
i would suggest that if u are not in a hurry to get one then wait for the new Hi-MD units to come out...
Guest Anonymous
The timing of the release of the Hi-MD units is April 2004 here in the UK , I would guess that this will force the cost of current players down in tyhe market. My real question would then be are the current units (particuarly Sony Net MD N-10 and the Sharp IMDR420H) a vast improvment over my current player ? mAjEsTiC
i would think so...it's been a while since ur player so the technology has vastly improved by now...if u still prefer Sharp's quality of output then the DR420 wouldn't disappoint u...the Sony on the other hand has quite a few features that u can play with but the output of it isn't as good as the Sharp's...however both of them will be more advanced that ur old player... Guest Anonymous
I have just found an example of the Sharp DR420 online in the Uk at £112 (delivered) the cheapest Sony N10 is around £198 (delivered).... Think the Sharp shades it
