Guest Anonymous
i have an mz-n505 md and was wondering how you fit "more than 5 hours" of music on my 80min minidiscs. i optimized all my songs to ATRAC3 and only fit about 79min on it! do you have to record in a certain mode? how do you get to this mode(buttons)? ive been recording in LP2 and it hasnt gotten me far as you can see. mAjEsTiC
u have to reacord in LP4 for this it be able fit 5hrs worth on an MD...but the quality is pretty bad IMO so i tend to stay away from it...LP2 = 79min on an 80min MD?!?!? LP2 should hold double that amount...i think u were recording in SP mode since ur not getting any more storage space over the 80min MD disc...see this pic to see where you go to change the modes...(this is in SonicStage btw) after going there choose Maximize Available transfer space... Guest Anonymous
1. i have openmg jukebox and it doesnt look like that pic 2. i know its in lp2 because it says so when i go into device/media 3. i know it only fit 79min because i was recording and iit stopped and said something like it was at full capacity and it has 79:01 on it
mAjEsTiC
ok sorry that pic was from SonicStage 1.5...um seems odd to me that OpenMG would show that the total track time is about 80min (but the number of tracks that u can fit on it would most probably have exceeded 30...???) if so then nothing is wrong...if not then there's something seriously wrong with the way that u have converted ur songs...because on a 74min MD that i have i have 34 songs with Remain : 03:34 and Total Track Time of 02:14:39 with Size : 149.2MB...all songs encoded in LP2 and an average of about 4min each... Guest Anonymous
hmm...well i do only have 47 songs on it, which is much more than 79min, but i still wish i couldve fit 5hrs on it. how bad is the sound quality on lp4?
mAjEsTiC
quite bad actually...i wouldn't use it if u cared about the quality of ur music...otherwise i think it's sufficient for recording lectures and stuff like that...
